Scope

Website Redesign

Overview

Menura Studio is a sound design and music studio working with brands across advertising and digital media. I redesigned their website to improve clarity, structure, and conversion — transforming it from a portfolio-style layout into a strategic, user-focused experience.

A UX audit revealed critical gaps preventing user engagement:

"Users don't convert when they don't understand the value within the first 5 seconds."

01

Unclear value proposition

→ Users didn't understand the offer

→ Messaging was unclear

02

Lack of structure

→ Inconsistent structure & navigation

→ Missing project context

→ Reduced credibility

→ Projects lacked context

03

No conversion path

→ No clear next step

→ No strong call-to-action

01

Structured User Flow

→ Intentional Layout

→ Content structured to build trust

02

Improved Hierarchy & Readability

→ Clearer messaging and value proposition

→ Improved flow and content hierarchy
→ Brand Perception

03

Foundation for Conversion

→ Stronger, professional presence

→ Clearer entry points

Solution

I redesigned the experience into a clear journey:

Landing page (home) → Work → About → Contact

This reduces cognitive load and guides users toward action.

The gallery-style layout was redesigned with structured sections, grouped related content, and guided user attention through the page.

The redesign transformed the website into a structured and strategic experience.

A side-by-side comparison of a website redesign for Menura, labeled "Before" and "After." The "Before" column on the left shows a multi-section landing page with a maximalist design featuring large 3D character renders, abstract metallic sculptures, and sections titled "Original Music and Sound Design," "Love is," "Paint Field," and "The Game Awards." The "After" column on the right displays a modern, minimalist dark-themed layout. It features a hero image of a person in a locker room with the headline "Sound that moves stories," followed by a "Featured Work" gallery, an "About Us" section with team photos and statistics (150+ Projects, 40+ Clients), and a sleek contact form at the bottom.

Final thoughts…

The importance of aligning design with user goals and business objectives.

By focusing on structure and clarity, I shifted the experience from a visual showcase to a intentional, user-centered product.
